Rainbow Wings was founded in 2024 by Miss Becca, born from a lifelong passion and curiosity for all things birth and postpartum. My fascination started early—I remember sitting with my mom at just five years old, captivated by the show A Baby Story, following families through their labor and delivery journeys. My childhood was filled with caring for baby dolls, always playing the role of the nurturing mom or dedicated nurse. Growing up with much older brothers gave me the perfect opportunity to practice with my nieces and nephews, further cementing my love for caregiving. I became the one to call on when friends and loved ones brought home new babies.

The name Rainbow Wings holds deep meaning. Butterflies have always been special to me, inspired by my grandmother’s love for them. Their transformation symbolizes growth, change, and resilience—values I hold close in my work.

In 2021, after years of working in daycares, retail, and corporate environments, I started nannying for twin girls, Molly and Emma. Caring for Emma became my main focus while Molly underwent treatment for a rare combination of cancers. This shaped my heart in ways I never expected, while caring for Emma brought me joy and purpose for three unforgettable years. When Molly passed away in June 2022, rainbows became powerful reminders of her spirit. She still sends us signs—little rainbows and sparkly unicorns—reminding us of her bright light.

The summer of 2024 was a pivotal moment. Sarah, Molly and Emma’s mom, mentioned hiring a night nanny and doula when the girls were infants. It was like a lightbulb went off. As their family prepared to move out of state, I realized this was the path I was meant to follow. I pursued my postpartum doula certification through Childbirth International, and thus, Rainbow Wings truly took flight.

Through birth, loss, postpartum, and parenthood, my mission at Rainbow Wings is to provide a Rainbow of Care—supporting families through every season of life. Rain or shine, I’ll be there to walk beside you.
